The Executive Board invites all our CNJM-members to the Fall Picnic at the Bucks Mill Recreation Area. (137 Bucks Mill Road in Colts Neck, NJ) 1 PM till sundown. Prepare for lots of food and lots of fun. This is an admission-free family-friendly Mensa event, and for new(er) members, a great way to meet other Mensans. What does CNJ Mensa bring? We will get burgers, franks, snacks, soda, and water. Vegetarian and gluten-free options will be available, but if you have a particular diet, please plan accordingly and bring something you are sure you can eat. If you are in doubt, contact Marielle via email. What can you bring? We ask everyone to bring a side dish or dessert to share, show off your baking and cooking skills; homemade goodies are always a big hit! Hopefully, it will be sunny, so bring sunscreen, but rain or shine, the picnic will take place. Also, bring your favorite lawn and/or table games. We all love games! You may come late; however, we won’t guarantee how long the food will last. Come at noon if you want to help set up. From intersection of 537 and Rt. 34, go 1.3 miles (opposite Hominy Hill Golf Course) turn right on to small road, Bucks Mill Road. 0.7 mile LEFT into Bucks Mill Recreation Area. From South: North on Rt. 18. Exit 19-Rt. 34 North. North on Rt. 34. Left on Rt. 537. From intersection of 537 and Rt. 34, go 1.3 miles (opposite Hominy Hill Golf Course), turn right onto small road, Bucks Mill Road. 0.7 mile LEFT into Bucks Mill Recreation Area. North on Rt. 9 to Freehold. Right on Rt. 79-South Street. At end of South St, RIGHT on Rt. 537-Main St. Stay to Right going through town. Approximately 3 miles, pass underneath Rt. 18. After Rt. 18, go 1.3 Miles (opposite Hominy Hill Golf Course) LEFT on to small road, Bucks Mill Road. 0.7 mile LEFT into Bucks Mill Recreation Area. From West: Go to Freehold Rt. 537-Main St. After passing center of Freehold, go approximately 3 miles and pass underneath Rt. 18. After Rt. 18, go 1.3 miles (opposite Hominy Hill Golf Course) LEFT on to small road, Bucks Mill Road. 0.7 mile LEFT into Bucks Mill Recreation Area. We are on the left at the picnic area.
